| Bearwood Golf Club
has 9 holes that includes some alternative tees for
those wishing to play 18 holes of golf. Measuring a
comfortable 5,605 yards off the back tees, the course
may appear to be an easy test, but rest assured, a challenge
awaits golfers of all abilities.
The two opening holes are both Par 4 and are the
longest on the course. Be sure to warm up! The 3rd
/ 12th is a short dog-leg which offers a real chance
for an early birdie, while the next hole, when played
as the 13th, requires a solid drive from the elevated
tee over the Victorian orchard.
The 5th /14th is straight forward enough but keep
an eye out for the par 3 Hawtree designed 6th / 15th
hole. The great architect clearly did not want to
make birdies easy to score – we dare you to
defy him….
The next two holes are our most picturesque on the
course - Enjoy the views!
Finally, if the Out-Of –Bounds tight on the
left of the fairway can be negotiated, then a straightforward
hole awaits, followed by a well-deserved refreshment
at the 19th.
